Allergen List Design Change
To make the lists of allergens labeled on products easier to understand and read, NISSIN FOOD PRODUCTS is changing its packaging to adopt a uniform design that indicates allergens by using white text against a colored background. In addition, NISSIN YORK has added space to its packages for listing allergens contained in all its products.
Allergen Information on the Front of Packages
NISSIN FOOD PRODUCTS’ Anpanman Ramen Assari Shoyu (3-servings pack) and Anpanman Oudon Yasashii Odashi (3-servings pack) are products for small children. Adding allergen information on the front of packages ensures clear-understanding.
When allergens are present in products which did not previously contain them, NISSIN FROZEN FOODS draws attention to the allergens by labeling them on the packaging in an easy to understand manner.
Use of Illustrations in Allergen Labeling
NISSIN YORK has added space to its packages for listing allergens contained in all its products. Since the Apple Lactic Acid Bacteria (65 ml x 10) drink produced contains few allergens, the product package uses prominent illustrations to show only the allergens in the products.
NISSIN CISCO sells CISCORN BIG Plain which does not contain allergens.
