The five millionth visitor was Ms. Asami Yamada, who came from Tokyo with her friend. She was presented with the "5 Million Pass*," a pass which enables her to enter the museum 5 million times for free, in addition, a commemorative gift and a voucher for a one-year’s supply of Cup Noodles by Mr. Yukitaka Tsutsui.

The museum is dedicated to nurturing the creativity within every child by illustrating the importance of invention and discovery, which is to embody the spirit of Momofuku Ando, the inventor of instant noodles.
* The "5 Million Pass," is a free pass, with which a visitor can enter the museum 5 million times for free (it is valid for her own use, and is not for sale.) As the special gift for a 5 millionth visitor for CUPNOODLES MUSEUM, the pass is designed as a golden Cup Noodles.

ABOUT CUPNOODLES MUSEUM

CUPNOODLES MUSEUM was opened in September 2011 to commemorate Momofuku Ando (1910-2007), the founder of Nissin Food Products and the inventor of the world’s first instant noodles that revolutionized food culture all over the world. Through the many interactive exhibits and workshops, the museum introduces Momofuku’s "Creative Thinking" that inspired him to come up with new ideas and gives visitors some hints of invention and discovery that exist in all sorts of places. By seeing, touching, playing and eating, visitors can enjoy gathering the knowledge of instant noodles in the interactive Shoku-iku (dietary-education) museum.
