(President and Representative Director, CEO: Koki Ando; hereinafter "the Company") announces that the Company has participated in "RE100," a global initiative for companies to achieve 100% renewable energy for business activities, on February 1, 2021. The Company has set "procuring 60% renewable energy for business activities in Japan and overseas by 2030" and "procuring 100% renewable energy for business activities in Japan and overseas by 2050" as targets for increasing the procurement of renewable energy.
RE100 is a global initiative to shift electricity used for business activities to 100% renewable energy, involving the world’s most influential businesses.
The Group has expressed its participation in RE100 and set two targets for expanding the procurement of renewable energy to accelerate its efforts to achieve the goals set in the EARTH FOOD CHALLENGE 2030.
